  • Click on Start Button.
  • Go to Control Panel of machine.
  • Discover the option called “Network and Internet”.
  • Click on the option called “Network and Sharing Center

Once you reach to console of Network and Sharing Center, you need to click on the option “Set up a new connection or network”.

Click on the option “Set up a new connection or network” will create another console; following it. Click on the option called “Connect to a workplace”.

You would have two options to connect a work place such as your own Internet Connection or Dial directly. Recommended option “Use my Internet connection (VPN)”.

The next step is naming of your VPN location in the field of “Internet Address” in the form of URL or IP address such as or an IP address such as 192.168.100.**. Add the name of destination to remember your own Virtual Private Network server name.

On the final level, you need to add credentials to establish a connection like a username and password. A credential is core part of your own VPN server because every time in the future, whenever you establish a connection you need this credentials, hence make sure it should be enough strong with special characters, and numbers. Note: it’s always the best to keep credentials remember by default.
